Pro Tips for Winter Fun
For your Home:
- Prep your furnace early: replace filters and consider a quick tune-up before the first deep cold snap.
- Check weather stripping around doors and windows to keep heat in and bills down.
- Keep a small shovel and ice melt by each door for quick clearing and safety.
Know where the main water shutoff is: frozen pipes happen fast if temps dip below zero for long stretches.
For your family:
Dress warmly in layers, and don’t forget hats, gloves, and waterproof boots. (Never hurts to pack extra socks!)
Keep snacks and warm drinks handy for outdoor activities.
Bring a camera to capture these special moments in the snow!
Have a wonderful winter here in Minnesota!
